Hi, I’m Ayako — a female entrepreneur living and working in Tokyo.
I run two beauty salons in Ginza, Tokyo’s most polished neighborhood — a nail salon and a relaxation & wellness salon — and I also work as a management consultant. Between running my businesses and everyday life here, I spend my days talking with locals and international visitors alike.
Tokyo Insider is where I share what I actually know first-hand: where to stay, what’s worth booking, how Japanese beauty and wellness services really work, and the small practical things (like SIM cards and train passes) that make a Japan trip smoother.
